Office building Netzquartier | Berlin

In August 2016, an electricity network operator in Berlin with 650 employees moves into its new corporate headquarters.

The new building, designed in ecological and sustainable construction, comprises 13 above-ground floors and one below-ground floor. The sound-absorbing acoustic lamella ceiling extends over a total area of approx. 12,000 sqm. The material is suitable for DGNB certification. Due to the large, free cross-section of the ceiling to the raw ceiling, air-conditioning systems, cooling sails and fire protection systems can work concealed. The lamellas are equipped with an absorbent fleece that fills the profile and are microperforated. This creates pleasant acoustics throughout the room. The linear structure impresses with its precise lines and gives the rooms a spacious appearance.

The luminaires specially developed for this ceiling system are ideally suited for office workplaces. Due to their low installation height, they can run below the trunking. This simplifies installation because the trunking does not have to be interrupted.
