Philips in Aachen was renovated in 2017 in terms of fire protection. A smoke extraction and sprinkler system as well as an alarm system were installed. As part of this renovation, Philips planned an acoustic optimisation, accompanied by an improved appearance. Our HAUFE acoustic lamella is excellently suited for this purpose. In addition, a new lighting concept was developed and integrated directly into the lamella ceiling. The installation was carried out during ongoing production and therefore the hall was scaffolded in sections. In order to optimally adapt the ceiling, the lamellas were manufactured with regulation punching and fixed lengths.

For a constant, "machine-friendly" room temperature in large hall areas, we recommend our new HAUFE surface temperature control.
